Privacy policy
What we collect, and what we do with it.
Written to be read, not skimmed past. Updated August 2026.
Who we are
Welcome Networks is the operating name of Set IT Up Technologies Inc., 200 – 20457 Fraser Hwy, Langley, BC V3A 4G3. When this policy says we, it means that company. It covers this website, welcomenetworks.com.
The IT, security and cloud services we deliver to client firms are governed by written service agreements, which set a higher, more specific bar for how client data is handled. This page is about the website.
What this site collects
- What you send us. The contact form asks for your name, firm, employee range, work email, phone number and an optional message. We receive exactly what you type, along with the time it was sent.
- Spam protection. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs a technical check in your browser to tell people from bots. It is governed by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard operational logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and protect the service.
- Booking a meeting. The "Pick a meeting time" calendar on the contact page runs on Microsoft Bookings inside our own Microsoft 365 environment. What you enter there is held in that environment and used to run the meeting you booked.
- Your skin preference. Choosing the day or night skin stores one value in your own browser. It never leaves your device and we never see it.
- What we do not do. We set no cookies, run no analytics trackers and use no advertising pixels on this site.
How we use it
Form submissions go to our own systems so a person can respond: booking the meeting you asked for, arranging an assessment, or answering a question. We do not sell personal information, and we do not add you to mailing lists you did not ask for.
Where it lives
Form submissions are processed and stored on systems hosted in Canada. Public pages of the site are cached by Cloudflare’s network to be delivered quickly; your form data is not part of that cache.
How long we keep it
As long as the conversation or business relationship needs it, and no longer. If you ask us to delete an inquiry, we will, unless a legal obligation says otherwise.
Who we share it with
Service providers that run parts of the infrastructure described above, under obligations that limit what they may do with it, and public authorities where the law requires it. That is the whole list.
Your rights
Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and BC’s Personal Information Protection Act, you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw consent to our keeping it. Write to sales@welcomenetworks.com and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
