We speak accountant.
Welcome Networks was founded inside an accounting firm in 1999, and it never washed out. We keep Canadian practices running: the software, the season, the deadlines.
Software fluency
The software your firm lives in.
The team knows these applications the way generalist IT knows Windows: installation, licensing, season rollovers, and the ways they break at the worst possible time. Almost no one in Canada specializes like this.
Run something else? Odds are we know it. Ask.
Cloud desktops, built for busy season
Your practice, sized for March.
Your applications and files on a secure Canadian cloud desktop that scales with the season: add capacity for your busiest weeks, scale it back after April, and let reviewers, seasonal staff and partners work from wherever the files are needed.
Explore cloud desktopsWe don't onboard new accounting firms during tax season. All hands belong to the firms we already serve. Your migration happens in the off-season, where it can never collide with a deadline.
When it breaks at 9pm
Deadlines don't wait for morning. Neither do we.
When CaseWare crashes mid-file after hours, a certified technician answers in under 45 seconds on average and starts solving: someone who knows the software, not just Windows. A real night team is on shift, because the night before a deadline is exactly when it matters.
Questions firms ask us
Can you run our tax software on a cloud desktop?
Yes. We install, license and update the software your firm already uses, and it runs beside your data instead of across an office network. You give us the licensing details once; after that, updates and season rollovers are our job.
What happens during tax season once we are a client?
From February 15 to April 30 we take on no new accounting firms, so the whole team, day shift and night shift, belongs to the firms we already serve. A certified technician answers in under 45 seconds on average, at 9pm on March 25 the same as on a Tuesday in July.
How disruptive is switching to Welcome Networks?
One weekend. We prepare everything in the background for a week or two while your staff keep working, then your team stops Friday afternoon and is working again Monday morning. The full sequence is on the cloud desktops page.
Will our staff have to learn anything new?
Almost nothing. Same username and password, two-factor authentication, and one new icon on the desktop. Everything else looks the way it did on Friday.
