When it matters
Recovery is a rehearsed motion, not a scramble.
When something goes wrong, we spin up replacement servers from your backups and point your firm at them. That is the plan, and it has been executed for real: a firm hit by ransomware came to us in crisis, and we built them a clean environment and had them running. An emergency exception we know how to execute.
Where your data lives
In Canada. In facilities audited harder than most banks.
Your environment and every backup live in Microsoft Azure's Canadian regions and in Canadian data centres, facilities independently audited under ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 among other attestations, with a second copy kept in a separate Canadian facility. The audits belong to the platforms and facilities; the residency guarantee, and the team answerable for it, are ours.
Questions firms ask us
What does immutable actually mean?
A copy that nothing can alter or delete for 14 days, not ransomware, not an attacker with stolen admin credentials, not us. It is the copy you restore from when everything else has been touched.
How far back can we go?
A full snapshot from each of the last three days, incremental backups from three points in every day going back 60 days, 12 monthly archives, and 7 yearly archives. If it existed, there is a version of it.
What if our office is destroyed?
Nothing that matters lives there. Your environment and its backups are in Canadian data centres, so recovery means signing in from somewhere else. If your office burned down tonight, you would be billing again in hours, not weeks.
Do you promise zero downtime?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. We promise to be on it instantly, to measure recovery in hours rather than days, and to have the copies that make that possible.
