Welcome Networks started in 1999 with the IT manager of an accounting firm, someone who saw from the inside what accountants actually need from technology. More than two decades and 200+ Canadian firms later, the company still speaks fluent accountant.
The story
Rebuilt three times. Ahead of the curve each time.
Founded by the IT manager of an accounting firm, someone who saw from the inside what accountants actually need from technology. The specialty was never bolted on. It is the origin.
We built a private data centre in Canada and moved client firms off aging office servers onto hosted remote desktops, years before that was the normal thing to do.
The Dhatt Brothers bought the company, and Welcome Networks became the newest home of the Dhatt Brothers. The team, the specialty and the no-dispatcher support model stayed exactly where they were.
We extended the same architecture to AWS, run beside the private cloud and managed the same way, so each firm sits on the platform that fits it.
The current focus: a modern cloud desktop built for each firm on Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, with their applications, their file server and enterprise security around all of it.
The earlier platforms still run and still serve clients. Nobody gets force-marched to the newest thing.
The people

Every technician is Microsoft-certified, including the owner. There is no dispatcher: when a client calls, a technician answers, on average in under 45 seconds, day and night. Our own team on both shifts, never an outsourced call centre.
