Confidentiality is an IT spec.
Law firms share the accounting DNA we were built on: hourly billing, client confidentiality, zero tolerance for downtime. The software is different, and so is our setup for it.
How we serve law firms
Built around your workstations, not a hosted desktop.
Most law practices run on cloud-native practice tools and Microsoft 365, so we manage the firm per user: every laptop and workstation hardened, patched and supported, identity locked down, and layered security monitored around the clock. The same 45-second support model and the same certified team as our accounting clients, shaped to the way a law office actually works.
Managed and monitored around the clock, with identity threat detection watching the accounts attackers actually target.
Laptops and desktops fully managed per user: patching, hardening, encryption, and support that answers when the firm calls.
Tenant brought to our security baseline, conditional access enforced, mailboxes and files backed up independently of Microsoft.
Security awareness training that treats your people as the first control, not the weakest link.
Privilege doesn't cross borders. Neither does your data.
Every environment we run and every backup we keep lives on Canadian soil. When a client asks your firm where their file is stored, the answer is one word.
Compliance
Built to answer your law society's questions.
The law societies of British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario each expect firms to do due diligence on any provider that touches client records: where the data lives, who can reach it, how it is protected, and how you get it back. Our answers are short.
We complete due-diligence questionnaires with your firm, including the Law Society of BC's cloud computing checklist, and our infrastructure is designed to support your obligations under PIPEDA and the BC and Alberta Personal Information Protection Acts. Compliance always remains the firm's responsibility; we make the technical answers easy.
Questions firms ask us
Do we need a cloud desktop?
Usually not. Most law firms run cloud-native practice software and are better served by managed workstations with layered security. We will tell you which model fits in the first meeting, and it is often the cheaper answer.
Where does our client data live?
In Canada. Every environment and every backup, without exception. Canadian data residency is a design rule here, not an add-on.
Can you support our practice management software?
We manage the workstations, identity, security and Microsoft 365 that your practice software depends on, and we work directly with your software vendors when something breaks on their side of the fence.
Is there a waiting list like the accounting tax-season freeze?
No. The February-to-April freeze protects accounting firms in their busiest season. Law firm onboarding runs year-round.
